Applying to the Computer-Based Honors program is as simple as downloading a form—but we only accept the best of the best. Take the plunge.

Before we can accept your application to the Honors College and the Computer-Based Honors Program, you must first be admitted to the University. This does not consitute a commitment to the University of Alabama on your part.

The application for the Computer-Based Honors Program is the same application for the University Honors Program and International Honors Program. While you do not need to apply to these programs when applying to CBH, it is strongly recommended that you do so. Please submit only one application for the entire Honors College.

The application deadline for scholarship consideration is January 12th, 2008. It is strongly recommended that you apply before this date.

The application includes several essays which require much thought and consideration on your part; you may want to compose these essays in a separate document before including them in your application. The resumé may also be attached, but please be considerate as to the overall size of your application. A strong application listing your most impressive and important accomplishments is better than a long application detailing your entire academic and extracurricular career.
